What is Starting Point?
Starting Point is a conversational, ten week group environment where people may explore
faith and experience community. Starting Point groups are a safe place for people with
questions about faith as well as those who want to learn about the Bible and Christianity.
Groups consist of people who are curious and investigating Christianity, those who have
recently started a relationship with God, or those who are reconnecting with God after
being away from church for a while.
Who is it for?
Seekers - those who are curious about God, Jesus, the Bible, and/or Christianity
Starters - those who have just begun a relationship with Jesus Christ
Returners - those who have some church experience, but have been away for a while
When and where do Starting Points meet?
Starting Point groups meet at 9:45 A.M. on Sunday mornings on the Dayspring campus.
Childcare and programming for children are offered at the same time.
How do I join a Starting Point Group?
New Starting Point groups begin approximately five times a year at Starting Point
orientation. The orientations are designed to help interested people further investigate
this ministry and make sure it is right for them. To discover the date of the next Starting
Point orientation and to register for it, click here.
Is there a cost?
There is a $20.00 charge for the materials which include a study guide and a set of eleven CD messages. Scholarships are available to anyone that needs one.
